Operating in a fiercely competitive landscape, caustic soda holds strategic significance for the company with diverse applications across the chemical industry, heavy industry, alumina, metals, water treatment, food processing, paper mills, detergents, and more.

Location: Lyon Headquarters, Sales and Marketing Department

Responsibilities:

Organizational:

Develop and implement relevant performance indicators, ensuring meticulous monitoring.
Formulate and formalize internal business monitoring rituals such as weekly calls, seminars, conferences, etc.
Oversee project management, action plans, and their subsequent follow-up. Direct leadership of internal projects may be required.
Act as the primary contact for activities interfacing with support functions including processes, customer relations, supply chain, logistics, credit, and legal.
Quality and Processes:

Define and optimize internal processes within the designated scope.
Create, enhance, and manage processes to ensure operational efficiency.
Commercial:

Compile and format responses for RFQs, contracts, and commercial offers within the department.
Identify and cultivate new clients in specific European regions through proactive prospecting activities.
Provide commercial support to teams and subsidiaries, contributing to the development of solutions with subsequent implementation and follow-up.
Consolidate data and prepare comprehensive reporting.
Communication:

Act as a relay for communication to internal teams and external clients.
Provide marketing and commercial support as needed.

Background in chemistry or process engineering, ideally complemented by training in marketing/sales.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, preferably in chemistry, with exposure to intercultural environments.
Strong analytical, synthesis, and precision skills.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and independently.

Adaptable with robust interpersonal skills to enhance cohesion and collaboration.
